BL Garza Middle School was named after Mr. Baldemar Lino Garza. The school was dedicated on November 20, 1999. BL Garza often referred to as “BL” is one of the top middle schools in ECISD. BL has a tradition of Excellence in all aspects of campus life, from its Academics, Fine Arts Programs, and Athletics programs at BL “Excellence is Our Standard.”
